wedding superstition

8 days to go .I really hv nuthing to say..nuthing to write...nuthing to talk. Im sick and tired of staying in control.

My day started off with me getting up at 6.35 a.m. I took my bath & started d day with d final -touch of 'wedding souvenirs' wrapping & tagging works. Around 9 a.m, i went downstairs 4 my tea & tuna cracker. SUddenly, d bell rang & i could see sum1 with a motorbike in front of d house. Yess, d postman came & gave me few envelops which I knewexactly belonged to papa. Mum looked really bz with paper bags n car-key in her hand. She said that she needed to see d lady who decorated my hantaran ASAP to collect d bekas2 hantaran.I think she's d busiest person amongst us dealing with all this prep thingy. (Thanks mum 4 everything, 4 all d hard works & 4 the money ;p) Without taking her breakfast, she drove to makcik zah's home. I felt a bit lonely at home, doin' d chores all alone. Org cakap, few days before getting married we have this childish attitude...need 2 be pampered n showered with luv & tend to be 'attention seeker' for a while. Things will be totally different after d wedding day. A new different phase of life. Mum said that sooner or later, i've got to look after myself n hubby & do everything on my own. She told me that right after d akad-nikah, her n papa's responsibily will no longer belonged to them. Those simple words shoot me straight on my head and had great impact upon my life. I have to cook, i have to look after him, be a lady, i hv 2 accept all d unpredictable things that gonna come ahead.. Mum forgive me if i did wrong. B, forgive me i can't b a perfect wife.

"i really adore u mum"
8 days left and I am not allowed to go anywhere & not even allowed to drive on my own or hang around with frens 4 a brief chitchat. Do u believe in superstition? I read this collection of '44 Malay wedding Superstitions & belief'. I don't know whether this might b useful or not. Ade jugak yg mcm merepek. SO im not gonna put 'em' here.

This day, my mind was ultimately occupied with worriness. I just can't believe that this kid (in d pic below) is getting married. May the al-Mighty Allah s.w.t bless u reen.

"be nice, kid. Be nice to everyone. B nice to hubby, to mum, to family & frens"

Since tomorrow i'll be celebrating my last bday as miss farah, so i will dedicate a song to myself.

reen, u gonna make it well. a friend once told me the same worry about starting a new life as a wife and now after married couple of months, whenever bumps into me, she would excitedly tell how enjoyable her days are. well, im not in the situation i know but all i can do is praying for at least a strong spirit we could ever have all the way of our journey.

wishing u happiness, and take care dear..

i guess yeah,, ppl do follow some rules of the superstitions though they said they didnt. but i guess, keeping yourself busy at home is and not meeting him especially for a while is good.hehe.save the best for last.
