wedding/engagement checklistt......;)

Yes…here I am…since I promised to put a checklist for any sort of ‘eng/wed’ event…so…I gotta put it here..Well buddies, there r few types of checklist that u shud put in ur own ‘sort of diary’…but I’ll just enclose a very simple one…n u gonna put all d details inside each item…yippie..here it goes

1. set the date & determine d type of eng/wed u want (is it gonna b a simple, meaningful or glamorous concept?)
2. yeah2…discuss d budget with d loved ones…(r u gonna share d budget or split into two lisst so that u can distribute things that u r gonna solve on ur own)
3. & d very 1st of all (u need to b alert ‘bout the civil registry (all d nikah kawin punye urusan….that considered 2 b done in 6/8 months b4 ur big wedding day)…yess…u need to go for a ‘kursus kawin’…it think u shud block ur annual leave for 2 days to attend this kursus (itu kalo pegi weekdays)…but if u go to kursus kawin yg wat kat univ or campus…u can go during d weekend ..tp kan x njoy sbb hahaha…..penceramah x sporting & x open lgsung…ops..
4. Ok…next is ‘bout d catering reservation…but it’s all up to u buddies…whether u wanna get a caterer or u wanna cook on ur own…but catering would b much2 easier since u can focus on ur grooming n other stuffs…(tp tgok budget..rasenye skang normal charge per head ntk catering rm9 per head..ade pakej..check n survey elok2 k)
5. yeah…u need an assistant during ur big day…maybe ur best fren to help u out during d event…so ask ur close fren to accompany n b by ur side..
6. Ok…meet with d florist n photographer…if u hv frens that work as a freelance cameraman..that would be great bcoz u can save ur budget..but of coz u still need to pay d service n photos but u can bargain la kan..haha…(for engagement event..i guess u need to rm650-700 to hire a professional cameraman…but for wedding day…it’s gonna b higher than that…but nway….take ur time n decide d best option for these 2 items)
7. select ur dress, veil, or maybe accessories (ths is for engagement aje) but for wedding of coz u need more outfit that’s suitable for every session (this would b pricey….yes indeed…I think u still need tailormade dress/baju nikah since u got 2 prepare extra outfit if any emergency/unwanted things happen..Nauzubillah..(pegi jgk jenguk2 boutique so that u know what’s d best for u)
8. decide d number of guests n plis prepare a list so that u can alwiz update it n monitor d planning in a proper way…
9. n this one…plisss pliss……make a saving….so that u can put a special budget aside after d wedding thingy….yeah u need money to be spent on ur new house (maybe a rented one but it’s all up 2 u ..perhaps u oredi hv one…n ths will help a lot…if u r gonna rent d house…save for deposits n d 2+1 payment)…pastu yg psl rumah tu xyah la make it complicated since bleh wat slow2…kan kan…Hey choose d rite place which can give convenience to both of u (d partner)..maybe it’s not that far away from ur work place..
10. yes….u oso need to spend money for final touches for ur wedding room /matrimonial room (yeaps…d bedsheet/ d decoration/ d fresh flowers/ room set ; dressing table n etc)…if this is specifically for ur wedding day…yeah..dun forget that this is considered as ‘major item’…
11. ok…since u got d guests list with u…so u need to think ‘about what sort of invitation u r gonna use (mail, hahaha press conference ;ish2 mcm artis plak.., cards, banners…wahh..meriahh gitu)
12. Compile a list of wedding souvenirs ….prepare souvenirs d be given 2 the guests….( I think it’s gonna b 5 types…adult , children ,special frens, VIP table, n maybe relatives)
13. arrange for a second fitting for ur wedding dress/eng dress…. maybe 2 weeks b4 d big day…
14. OMG…I forgot d mosttttttttt important item…yeahh ur wedding band/rings…n maybe more..haha…n ur hantaran2 (normal hantaran for engagement around 7 vs 9 …n kalo kawin 9-11)…don’t go for too many dulangs sbb mestila kte nak brg2 hantaran tu elok n in good quality…less is more ….n look more neat…n yeah nmpk lagi elegant…hahaha…welll it’s up 2 u buddies…Yes d gubahn is also important (u can find a fren to help u out with d hantaran design or maybe if u hv extra money….u can a hire a designer)..
15. see ur doctor 4 a medical check up (yessss….pliss do this…HIV test tu bile nak complete ur civil registry…but a complete medical check up also needed for ur own good)
16. yes…u need to help ur parents…ur siblings…ur bridesmaid…to choose their own clothing….help them so that d color wont match with urs…(yeah of coz u hv ur own theme color rite)
17. appoint a master of ceremony…maybe kalo melayu2….ade la yg expert2 dlm family kan..like ur super ‘aunty/uncle’
18. btw my beloveddd frens, u need to co-ordinate d colors of ur dress, ur furniture, ur flowers n , hantaran ….n kain langsir …this is very important so that when d guests enter ur house…tone color of curtain n all items mixed well ..snang citer x nmpk canggung n pelik..
19. next….u need to arrange a special gathering with both side of family members (ur mother in law n ur mum )….i think u don’t need involvement from all members…yeah..nnt ade argument kan…most important this will bring happiness to both parties….yeah…kang masam2 muke…hehehe…so…bincang elok2….n senyum2 slalu..’
20. do a final check with ur fotographer…..make-up service, florist, caterer, kalo tunang pon…u still need tok iman to come to ur house…tp kdg2 x…(sumtimes kana de solat hajat n doa2…this is for ur engagement)….Ok…about d akad nikah thingy ..n naik pelamin….put aside in a different list (this is ur major ceremony)…go thru every item needed again n again… make sure everything is in d right place eg.: ur pelamin n all….
21. n again…ur personal accessories …(ini kalo yg dah dkat sgt nak kawin…)….yesss, u need to get ur personal accessories (ur night gown ke…or fragrances for ur room)
22. make certain ur guests hv direction to reach ur big day venue… (inside d invitation kan biasenye ade miny map to ur place)
23. make sure u hv all d bridal accessories, slimming girdle, corset or what so ever, emergency item.
24. yes…b4 d ceremony…or b4 ur partner dtg , just let him/her know..that there might be things that wont fall to the right place…n just let it be…bcoz we r human…n make sure u make d best out of it..
25. ok…when d big day comes…just stay calm, relax, and thank everyone for his/her help. Most of all njoy d celebration…
26. HEY…don’t forget to eat sumthing b4 any important wedding session….yeah maybe a slice of bread can make a difference …don’t go for any heavy meal.. Fellas, I know it’s pretty hard to achieve d best in this ‘special’event…but life must goes on & don't b fussy…n njoy it 2 d fullest….most important love d loved ones 4 who they r…..
27. Yippies…I finish writing all these important items….there might b more n more to b included inside d list….but I think that’s all I can giv…Dun forget to ask for any tips from others….We r not perfect nway…Ok…maybe…afterwards…we can discuss ‘about beaty tips…n fine beauty products or anything for ur big day preparation….Later k…mwahss….kekeke...i'll just put one of my engagement photo...
